PROLOUGE: COLBY & MITSUR


Colby Rush, 14, walked out of THS high school. His head was pounding, and his arms hurt. But still, he was relieved. The semester finals were, well, finally over. He was free, at least until Monday. He was looking forward to getting home, watching TV, maybe playing his Xbox 360, and some rest. As he waited in the cold for his bus, a sudden thought occurred to him.


Something was telling him he had an important thing to do. That something included typing somehow...


He was just about to remember when Ethan slapped him on the back, as he walked to his car.


"Seeya later, Colby! I'll see you Monday...with my money!" He yelled over his shoulder. Colby smiled and waved back.


"Bye Ethan!"


Just then, Colby's bus pulled up, and the hinged doors opened.


"Thanks, Charles." Colby said to the bus driver as he stepped into the bus and took a seat, little kids cowering in fear from him.


Colby was tall, with dark brown hair cut short. A glittering chain of gold hang around his neck, with a shark tooth attached. A basic pair of dark jeans, with a blue shirt, was underneath his jacket.


As the bus made its way to his house, Colby chatted and laughed with his friends, occasionally plugging his iPod's headphones into his ears when they got off.


Finally, the bus stopped at a 4-way intersection, and Colby climbed out, glad to be rid of the hot, stuffy bus. The wind blew a cruelly cold wind across his jacket, and Colby shivered. He pulled the hood over his head, and began the trek down the icy, snow-covered road to his house.


He looked at the mountains all around him, still a bit in awe of them, despite his year-long stay.


Finally, he reached the fence in front of his house. It was your average normal-looking house, and a pasture in the back had the family paint horse, named Jess.


He trooped through the snow, and his feet sank through to the knees, He swore, but kept going. The front porch was entirely covered in snow.


Finally, he reached the front door, opened it, and stepped inside. His dogs immediately tackled him, jumping up and down, barking wildly.


He opened the door again, and they rushed out, still barking.

Several hours later, Colby was sitting in front of his computer, idly playing a quick game of Warcraft III. After it finished by Colby's base blowing to smithereens, he logged off, just as Bullet Magnet logged onto MSNIM.


They chatted for a bit, making stupid jokes but laughing all the same. Finally, after a large amount of time, they bid each other good night, and logged off. Colby turned off his computer, but forgot to put the monitor down.


He walked away, and went into the bathroom to take a shower. After a few minutes, he emerged, wearing pajamas and having wet hair. He walked back into his room, and went to the book case. He selected a book, and turned around.


The computer was on, the monitor bright, so bright he couldn't see the screen.


"Hmmm...that's weird. I could've sworn I turned it off..." He said, and shut it down again. He turned back away, again neglecting to close the monitor.


He turned back, remembering the book. The computer was back on. Colby felt a trickle of fear, then outright terror as he realized the computer was sucking him towards it.


"Oh, shit!"


He ran wildly away, but the air continued to pull, until he flew backward, right into the screen of his laptop.


Everything went dark, and then light exploded into his eyes.

"No...I don't want to cyber....with you....you're a dude...." Mitsur mumbled as he slowly regained consciousness. His eyes flickered open, and he saw that Havoc, Bullet Magnet, and Rexy were standing around him, with worried expressions.


"Are you OK?" They asked him.


"Yeah...I had the craziest dream...you won't believe it, but people are actually normal there....I was this awesome teenager...his name's Colby..."


"Regular people? That's impossible!" Rexy said, laughing.


"Yeah, you're right. It must've been a dream." Mitsur said, but still uncertain.


"Yeah, well, you shouldn’t have drank all those martinis then challenged Hobo to a Kung Fu battle. He kicked your ass, without even trying!" Havoc said, and Mitsur laughed weakly. He pulled himself up, and looked back around at the aftermath of the party over beating the n00bs.

Finally, the sequel has started! I apologize over such a short entry for the start, but there will be more.

Oh, and in case you're wondering, I am indeed the Colby in the story. I tried to make it seem like I don't know about my Mitsur alter-ego. Yes, lame, I know, but good enough for a prolouge.
