I like GT in some ways. Yes true they did have their highest budget with it (even though it virtually flopped, just goes to show what happens when you milk something too much, next up to bat Pocket Monsters! *hopefully*)
But the parts I thought were neat about it were a teenage Pan, further relationship with Bra and Vejita, some of the old characters we don't hear much about came back for brief cameos: RR Army, Nappa, the President, etc. The relationship between Mr. Satan and Mr. Boo could really be felt in his final hour.
Basically all the stuff Dragonball doesn't represent in the minds of the masses (ie fighting) is what I enjoy most, when these super-human characters are just being regular family. One of my favorite GT episodes is when Pan is trying to make Super Oozaru Goku remember her and she shows him that picture. They go into a flashback scene when all the main characters were spending a day at the beach, I thought that was pretty neat. Also the last episode was touching...Saraba, Goku. Ano hi made...
Wow I haven't talked about Dragonball this much in years...it's funny to talk to Japanese people I know because they all think it's weird a nearly 20 year old show is being idolized like something new. America is so behind. Almost every major country in the world has already shown ALL of the original DB, ALL of Z, and probably ALL of GT years ago...
