I always have to be 100% sure. That's the only way I can make a rational decision. If I were to just leap into a situation without thinking it through thoroughly, weighing the pros and cons, I would only feel stupid afterwards. So, I've always thought it's a better idea to think everything through until I feel that I'm right. It doesn't matter to me whether or not a friend of mine disagrees with what I'm about to do. As long as I think things through carefully, everyone else's feedback is only a burden.
That's just how my mind works.

Sorry, let me rephrase: a person may be 100% sure but that doesn't mean that they are right. Which is why I rely on my friends to call me out when I'm about to do something stupid.
