Still, I don't think anyone can ever really be 100% sure that they're making the right decision. There have certainly been times when I was sure I was right to do something until a friend talked me out of it - and now I'm glad they did.

I always
have to be 100% sure. That's the only way I can make a rational decision. If I were to just leap into a situation without thinking it through thoroughly, weighing the pros and cons, I would only feel stupid afterwards. So, I've always thought it's a better idea to think everything through until I feel that I'm right. It doesn't matter to me whether or not a friend of mine disagrees with what I'm about to do. As long as I think things through carefully, everyone else's feedback is only a burden.
That's just how my mind works.
