RG-49 was slightly disorientated by Gappiqu's attack, and Goresplatter evidently took advantage of this. He grabbed his arm with his rifle and yanked it to his back, trying to render him unable to strike back at either of them. But his mechanism was not like normal organic structure, so he was able to turn around, even his arm was held back. He faced Goresplatter, preparing to pay back the favor... until he received a blow in the face from Gappiqu, who was apparently aiming for the back of his head.

His head bent backwards, cables in his neck straining hard. The hit he received shattered the glass of his optical sensors and damaged them. He couldn't see anymore. At first, he was under the impression that the lights must have gone out. He tried to activate the night vision mode of his sensors - no luck.

Meanwhile, Goresplatter released his arm and went for Rick, who was watching this, rooted to the floor. He wouldn't beleive this... How did Gappiqu end up like this? They were building that elevator in the Grinding Station some time ago... And now he was fighting everyone who stood in his way for some reason.

He saw that Goresplatter took a sort of attacking stance. He backed away further. There was no way out of this. Gappiqu would finish with RG sooner or later... Rick remembered the time when he activated the robot in the Storage Room. RG was not very tolerant that time either, but at least he didn't attack people without reason. And he actually saved two Mudokons from falling down from a decent height, even though he usually didn't think much of 'organic workers' - as he called them.

Rick noticed a thin pipe bending out from its normal place. It must have been broken by the shots of RG. He grabbed the pipe and broke it from its place. It almost looked like those wooden pikes Mudokons wield in the forests. He held it and took a defensive stance. He was not intending on attacking any of the Sligs - they might as well shoot him, so there was no point of doing that. Instead, he waited for Goresplatter's reaction.

#7 Slig was munching on his Scrab Leg, observing the Cafeteria. He turned his head as a Steef and a Grubb walked in. "Wow... And there were times when you could only see Sligs and Mudokons on this level." he thought, mildly surprised by the newcomers. He walked to them, swallowing a bite of Scrab Leg. "Hey there. You're new here, I presume?" he asked them.
