IC: Ark continued to sneak through the shadow.
“Its times like this I’m glad I’m a darker shade than most mudokons.” But Ark was still slightly annoyed. First, he had lost the glukkon before he could take two steps. Second, Ark had found signs of at least one steef. Ark had a bad experience with the last steef he had met, for it had tried to break his arms and leg to drag his limb body back to Labor Force Ranch. Of course he was just doing what he was being paid to do, but it still was painful. But, Ark just pushed that memory to the back of his head and continued to dart between the shadows. Ark saw a few mudokons and sligs, but mostly heard them, including a few gun shots. Though Ark made sure that no one saw or heard him, because he didn’t like questions. Ark had a strong feeling that if a strange colored mudokon that no one knew about, there would be a lot of questions to answer. Ark tried to sneak to travel in a strait line, but had to take a few turns.
His heart raced when he had to dash through a room that looked like a lab. With his feet making a thump when ever his feet touched the cold floor, he thought someone must have seen or heard him. Determined he continued down the hall that led to some stairs, which he raced down. Ending up in a colossal room that was in pretty bad shape. Ark not sure if he was seeing thing, could have sworn that he saw a paramite. Just to be safe he started crawling along the wall to his left. It wasn’t comfortable or fast but at least it was safe, Ark thought to himself. Hearing some other noises Ark started to think that this place is big and probable has some big machinery to go along and how easy it would be to kill your self. Ark suddenly burst out laughing for no apparent reason. Stopping when he realized what he just did. Then pulled his gun out of its pouch so fast you could hardly see him doing, smiling in spite of himself, for his speed. Getting up to a crouch, to get a better look of the room in case if his out burst attracted anything.
Finally reaching the door he dashed to the opposite wall and sneaked from shadow to shadow, thinking that some one will surely see him.
“Odd, this place is big. Though I bet there is something at the end of this “hall”, if you can call it that... I should stop talking to myself.” Ark muttered before proceeding. After a few minutes, Ark finally reached the end and entered a room where there was no chance, what ever he did, of escaping noticing. He had entered what was with out a doubt a cafeteria.
