No, the problem with that theory is that Oddworld's existing fans are not enough to keep them going. That's why he came up with SW - it was a game that would/should have appealed to a wider market. He knows that as long as he makes a reasonably good game, we'll follow him anyway.

I agree, plus I don't realy want to buy another 2D game to follow the story lorne wants to tell us.
Actually wathever Lorne does now I'll buy (except if it's realy terrible, but I don't think Lorne could do that to us
).
They have to find new fans, and they wont succeed to do that with the release of another 2D game
