Praetyre listened to his superior's reply, but was puzzled by a strange sounding word.
"Sir, what's Latin? I've never heard of that language, unless its one of those pre Age of Alchemy dialects about which little is known. Also, what is the trickiest surgery you have performed? I once had to take a Clakkerz eye and transplant it to a Slig patient when there was a Scrub riot on Lab #11, and when I was cut off from the supply section, so I couldn't requisition new anaesthetic. Luckily, the Vykker in charge of that section was tossed out of the Labs for his idiotic policies and blatant incompetence."
Praetyre walked over to Arrack, hooking him up to one of the monitors and turning it on. It registered a high level of sedative in his bloodstream, but it was dissapating fast due to stress. In only ten to twenty minutes, Arrack would awake.
"Damn it. Can't loony Sligs keep still and asleep for one Oddforsaken hour?" he thought. He turned back to his superior.
"Arrack's going to wake up soon. But I'm not reading huge levels of energy in the brain. In fact, he seems to be showing the brainwaves of a depressed, soppy, mopey Inhabitant. Must be his trineural psychosis. He's probably going to be at the mental level of a two year old when he wakes up. So be prepared."
