Why oh why didn't they do the right thing!?
What they should have done is put him through immense, painful and unending torture until fighting/riots stopped. Or, because that probably wouldn't work, force him to say on television that he now agrees with the USA, and that all the fighting should stop, or whatever. Torture him until he says that, and you'd probably get a solution of sorts. We just aren't underhanded enough! :P
Also, I note that there IS a video of him being hanged that was leaked (don't look so suprised, you ALL knew there was going to be one :P), if anyone would want it.
Also, point out flaws in my ideas please, I'm trying to perfect them for when I go back in time. :B
