If the gabbit eggs aren't fertilised, then isn't Munch screwed anyway because, as was said earlier, there'd be inbreeding? And I'd think OWI wouldn't be SO utterly stupid as to not realise that. So they must be.

If Gabbits are like fish, then inbreeding wouldn't really matter. Inbreeding affects certain kinds of animals, like humans and cats. But fishs' genes are a bit different, causing the disturbition of genes to be a little different. So in theory, I don't think it really matters if the eggs are fertilized or not, the species will live on.
