And about them celebrating/worshipping the gabbits instead of any other species, I think that maybe the Muds are kind of like the native americans. They celebrate all of nature.

Sorry, my last post was vaguely worded. My point was that the word from TOE (and, according to my memory, the official wording from OWI) states that
the indiginous cultures that reside around the Mongo River praise the Gabbits as they swim upstream to spawn the next generation at their traditional birthplace. My point was that it nowhere states that these are muds and I would be more partial to believing that it's referring to Grubbs, as we know that they are native to the Mongo Valley.
