You might be a little confused if you went straight from Dune to Children of Dune. Dune Messiah is a much darker book than the first and sets up a series of events that fans of the first book might find disturbing.

I read Messiah i think and didn't enjoy it one tenth as much as the original, i do have children somewhere, never read it though.
The preludes to dune were awful
I didn't get much stuff worth listing except Father Ted all 3 series boxset. WOOT
