I hate it when someone misunderstands me (whether because I didn't express myself properly or because they're just senile), takes offence and then doesn't let me explain myself. My sister does this all the time and one of her friends is even worse - for the last three years she's believed that I'm a racist, bigoted fool who believes that the British were right to settle Australia, fool the Aborigines into partaking in crappy treaties and then kill them all. Just because she misunderstood me and won't let me bring up the topic again.
