could´nt squeek perhaps be the octopus aka sekto? that would be a cool plot. how he got there, how he became this world-hating greedy capitalist. Squeeks involved with symbiosis, so is the octopus.

I highly doubt it seeing as how Sekto was an Ocitigi and Squeek will supposedly be an entirely new Oddworld creature. Besides, it wouldn't make sense since Squeek is supposed to be close to the bottom of the food chain, while Sekto was pretty much at the very top of it.
