Ralph left the grinding area through to where the stairs were, but decided against going up them, instead going through the door on the other side. Walking through the passages for a short time he found signs pointing out the different rooms and decided to head for the cafeteria; there should be someone who could help him there.

As he came in the doorway he took a quick glance around the room, taking note of who was there. Hmm, must be my lucky day, he thought, seeing the glukkons there. The older, more experienced looking one was most likely the boss, so walking straight to the table where the glukkons were standing he looked directly at Arnie and spoke,
"Hello there! I hope I am not interrupting anything of importance, but I'm a new arrival here and I understand that around here, even the mudokons come directly to you to seek employment. You are the boss of this factory, correct? If so, I'm here to offer my services."
