OOC: No. Because that goes along the lines of completely ignoring the plot, making the story itself breaking off into a 'When Star Wars Meets Oddworld' RPG. Your character wouldn't really fit into the story either.
Edit: Don't take my word for it. Ask Splat. But then again, I guess the forum being named Oddworld RPG section kinda makes me fit that other races from other planets kind of belong in the Non Oddworld RPG section.
