Sorry, I was being so smart as to be incomprehensible. A few years back a guy went into his uni classroom and shot a few people. I think one died. The government used that as an excuse to ban quite a few models of firearm.
None of which were the ones the guy actually had.
Now, I don't disagree with gun control. I just find the Australian Government's posturing on this one a tad ridiculous.
