Basically you're saying that because you're not Catholic, you don't care. It's not world-changing stuff for you but it is world changing stuff for the many strict-practising Catholics out there. Clearly you can't relate to someone actually believing in anything. Therefore, I prescribe forceful removal of the cranium from the anus in which it has become lodged followed by a gaffer-taping of its lips.

No, I'm saying that it is an utterly ridiculous belief and anybody who gives it merit is a complete fool. Which is slightly different from just being an ignorant, intolerant idiot, which you're basically accusing me of being.
You can't go through this world 'respecting' every belief people have. Christians believe in God and all that high-jinks. Fine, whatever pops their cork. Some Christians think using a condom is a sin. That's pure idiocy and I can call it out as such.
I think the relief or indignation this potential decision can bring to such fools incredibly, overwhelmingly unimportant.
