Don't be ridiculous.

The news that the Pope is thinking about changing the Catholic stance on contraceptives (which doesn't exactly tie in with the new guy's plans to get back to ol' Catholic values - like witch-hunts) is hardly world-changing stuff. Though of course some would want to hype it that way.

If you're foolish enough to actually take note of that crap (about contraceptives, not the entire Christian faith) then I don't care if you get AIDs or not. C’est la vie!

And actually, as a genuine question as I have no idea, how strict is this within the Catholic faith anyway? I doubt it is that highly-regarded a thing, especially considering there’s potentially going to be a shift on the matter. I don’t believe that if the Pope came out onto the balcony to wave a tentacle and proclaim that condoms are now A-okay that the AIDs problem, or any other sexual business would be greatly affected.
