Yep, I found both of those too.
In AO, there's another weird ledge bit. When you've done Paramonia & Scrabania and got the Shrykull off of Bigface, you have to head back to the screen in the Monsaic Lines with 3 Sligs, 2 security orbs and about 4 mines, and blow the whole lot up. When all the bad stuff's gone, you climb up a mushroom-shaped rock that the mines were on. When you hoist yourself down on the other side, you expect Abe to face left. But he actually faces right, with his back to the mushroom rock. Strange.
