The Lulu plot element was a good idea, but was less than stellar because it was never really explained why we had to promote him up the ranks. Why couldn’t Abe and Munch just jump aboard any other blimp delivering supplies to Vykkers Labs? And why did they need to use Lulu to win the Gabbiar instead of just stealing it from whomever won? We’ve managed to make our own inferences, but it would have been better for Munch’s Oddysee if it had explained these things itself.
