Death for death. Torture isn't necessary but punishment and deterrent of crime must be carried out. Normally I'm against the death penalty, at least in normal criminal trials because it ****s up too easily. But this is Saddam Hussein. Cap him.
Who said anything about torture?


For me it comes down to the moral highground. How are we better than him if we exact his own upon him?

"Death for death" and all that doesn't click with me. It's such a knee-jerk and childish reaction that we should be above by now.

It costs a lot of money to keep a man in prison for his entire life. I'm not fond of the death penalty either. I'm just saying.
It woulldn't be his entire life. Just what's left of it.
