Krik huffed and looked disgruntled. He was, however, rather pleased to know these glukkons had heard of him and recognised his importance. "Actually, I'm not here for a job. I'm working on a very important project for the Magog Cartel which has been sent here for field testing. You haven't seen her have you? A black-skinned mud, thinks she's Skillya? I'm supposed to be running tests on her, but she seems to have run off."

Dionysia moved silently through the basement, thinking horrible thoughts about Gappiqu and Goresplatter.
She wandered through the dark maze of pipes, telling herself she wasn't lost as long as she knew which direction she was going in (in this case, forward). Climbing over a pipe, she suddenly found herself face to face with four paramites and some other creature she didn't recognise. "Oh, Sh-"

Jim sat in darkness, trying to be as silent as possible.
Then the cupboard door opened and he found himself face to face with a slig. He froze, a look of abject terror on his face.
Anni heard the slig say Jim's name, and quickly intervened. Running over, she pushed the slig out of the way, "Oh, there's nothing in there. It's al right. Food? Maybe in the fridge? Or a vending machine? Heheh..." She closed the door of Jim's cupboard behind her back, leaving the mudokon in darkness again.
She heard what Kix said. "No water?" Her face fell. Then she ran out of the kitchen, hoping Arthur wouldn't bother Jim again, and ran to where the two glukkons and an intern were sitting. "Arnie! You need to get the boiler working again or my garden will die! There's no water!"

Somi looked round in surprise as the mudokon suddenly appeared. She said a word Somi didn't know the meaning of, and then turned and ran away. Before Somi could react, the three paramites were chasing the mudokon, hissing and screeching. "Hey, wait! She yelled in paramite, and then glanced at Sturg. "Come on!" She chased after the paramites.
