Thanks all for your continuing well‐wishing. The cake didn’t go as planned, in fact it thoroughly failed to rise, and it didn’t have any taste. But it was sweet and ethical, so eating it gave me karma and a sugar high.
I’m meeting some friends tonight. I’d love to, anyway, but some of them have freshers’ flu, and others have work to do (because they picked swotty courses, hee), so it’ll be a quiet drink tonight. I’ll also be dying of hunger because I was late to dinner tonight and they threw my specially‐prepared meal away.
