Is Viva Piñata (ooh, squiggly thing over the 'n') worth playing? I've only heard it described as a cheap ripoff of Animal Crossing.

More like a cheap hybrid rip-off of Animal Crossing and Pokémon. And considering that I haven't played Pokémon since I was 13 and I haven't
ever played AC, I'm sure I'll find Viva Piñata to be a fresh, enjoyable experience.
It'll probably suck, but it'll also be one of those goofy little games that'll be fun just to sit back and relax with. Guilty pleasures FTW, certainly.
Plus, it's piñatas.
