Gore was taken aback.
"Well, you must be busy, but... is it ok for me to see them? I gotta at least see Gappiqu one last time... before he... *gulps*... you know."
Goresplatter was used to death of comrades, being a slig, but the thought of his old friend Gappiqu, prepared on a plate, and being eaten by the monstrous mother brought ill feelings to him. He felt helpless. He may be able to cheer Gappiqu up, but probably would not be able to restore his sanity - only the Odds could do that, he was sure. He was a little less worried about Molt, him being a general jerk when he was known by him. Ironically, it was more likely that Molt would live through the incident.
