Howdy. Actually, I thought of the same topic as Kimon, who was faster than me. lol

I live in Leipzig on a mainstreet, called Adler. There are a lot of houses and my neighbourhood doesn't have so much trees as it should but we're going to get a little park there. I hate self made parks.
The street is very loud, it only gets silent at 3 am in the night and starts being loud at 5 am. lol
I thought I could get used to it but it will never happen since I grew up next to the biggest forest in Germany... ah well...
Anyway, a comfort is that a massive park is next to the house I live, it belongs to the biggest forest inmiddle Germany. lol

I share my flat with a friend since students are hardly able to finance a flat by their own. Especially such a massive flat I chose. Harhar.
Well, it's 86 m² and a so called maisonette. Maisonette means that it has a stair extra, which leads to another room above. The flat is in the attic floor.
The hall is not the biggest and it's very dark since the door has just old and small windows. The bathroom is right and the bathtub is directly below the pitched roof area, which makes it very cosey. The kitchen is very big and quadratic.
In there, I have some antique furniture, mixed with high tech. Below the pitched area of the roof stands a rattan sofa where everyone wants to sit in when many people are there. lol
The kitchen is the only room with the heaviest furniture because almost everything in there is antique or self built. The living room is quadratic too but the brightest room of the flat. For me, the office and the living room should be the brightest areas of a flat or house.
In there is a day bed a funny armchair and a rattan chair, so is a rattan commode, on which my massive TV used to stand on (but it exploded somehow when I was in Pirmasens - :S). Now there's just a small tv on it. In the middle between the large windows is a self made lamp, which I'm very proud of.
Next to the living room is the office, which isn't ready yet but I'm going to plan putting white sideboards in it an a rattan chair in the middle.
The entire floor of the flat part below has light brown laminate, except for the kitchen and bathroom, they have white tiles (and they're a pain in the arse to clean every day).

In the living room is the stair, which goes up to the bedroom. The bedroom extends over the size of the whole section below, which means that is is the biggest room..a massive room where one could get lost, if there wasn't a big pillar in the middle.
I've got red carpet in there and some antique furniture. There are three massive skylights, two above me right now and one above the plant corner.

I love plants, that's why my whole flat has plants everywhere.
I will show you some photos of my flat later, my batteries need to charge again. LOL
