Well, the making of
Naked Lunch is pretty well documented already (that's how Cronenburg got in a few specific details, like the involvement of Ginsberg and Kerouac). Plus, the making of a book is not something that lends itself well to any medium... it's a pretty dull thing, at the end of the day it's just one guy writing.
However, Cronenburg managed it and it is wonderful. Hurrah for talking bug typewriters.

Alien 3 myself. Especially the extended cut that's on that brilliant boxset (which is dirt cheap now, over here at any rate).
