I thought it was that the elctricity 'flickered' on and off for you to get past, and that you step in while it's off, and then go Shrykull.

That's what I thought it would have been, cause I knew that you're never able to walk with Shrykull. But Chanting next to it makes sense. Thanks Dark Hood!
