I guessing because so much of his ideas have been cut out games console couldn't cope, he waiting for a better, more powerful console.
Maybe that why he is focus on a movie, maybe he was meant to reveal characters that had to be cut out for the ps/pc

That's probably correct. The ideas that he has, and wants to show us, have to be in good quality, and he's probably going to show us them through films.
