Yeah, commercial airplane businesses aren't suffering hugely since 9/11. And they certainly haven't required massive layoffs and government subsidies to keep from bankruptcy, nosiree.
With the way things are going 20 years from now we'll be rectally and vaginally examined before boarding and we'll fly bucknaked, blindfolded, and strapped into our chairs with diamond wires. Its the only way to be safe! Because safety has to come before everything, including common sense, practicality, and concern for the increasingly pissed off and hassled fliers.
