I mean, there's been plots before since 911 - This one was clever but obviously it wasn't *that* clever or else they wouldn't be been discovered. I did notice how easy it is to take stuff aboard planes in your hand luggage - They only scan your bags, not actaully look through them.

Wouldn't work - it's too easy to mask a bomb in a computer or something. Pretty soon we'll need mandatory floating-element testing (or whatever it's called) where they test to see if there are any explosive materials coming out of you and your bags. Or maybe we'll just have to stop carrying any hand-luggage.
