But if you're talking about that cliff screen with the
moon behind it (I think), that was the method of getting past those bats.
I use it the same way all the time when I play AO.

Is that so? I know that those three bats don't fly off on their own after a while, so this trick will please me greatly if it is true. I will test it.

There are a few screens like that where the bats fly around a little as you enter then flock off quickly.

Just to be pedantic, but to flock means to gather rather than to dissipate.
