Caffeine is the only universally accepted drug; a statement that will only be challenged when someone points out a place where caffeine is not allowed.
It takes hours for caffeine to leave your system, and even trace amounts will prevent you from entering the deepest, most restful sleep. So if you are having trouble sleeping, or always wake up tired, then avoid caffinated drinks after 4 pm. Drinking coffee because you are drowsy actually increases/continues your dependancy on it, not because of addiction, but because of its effects.
I'm not a coffee drinker, and this was the only mildly interesting thing I could post.
