I know what you mean, FF. One of the main reasons I liked the Oddworld series to begin with was because the games' strong points don't include being able to remove someone's head from their neck with a stream of bullets. Sports games? Bleagh. I say, go outside and do it yerself, ya bum.
AO has a great story -- heck, it's what started it all -- but the lack of a QuickSave feature can make you pull your hair out at times. AE has the QuickSave feature, but I didn't enjoy the story
quite as well. Don't get me wrong, though, since it's as uberspiff as the first installment in the Oddworld series.
