Whilst he was drunk he was blaming the Chosen People. When he sobered up he realised what that would mean for his career in Hollywood and claimed that he hadn't meant it.
Myself, I always say that when people are drunk you see their true self stripped of inhibition. That's why I don't get drunk - it's vaguely horrifying.
