Yes, it's perfectly legal. You'll need a disclaimer that says that you're not affiliated with Oddworld Inhabitants and are using images of theirs. Just copy one from another fan site.
Make sure you email
fanlegal@oddworld.com and tell them, though. OWI are really busy, so I don't know if you'll get a response, but it'd be the decent thing to do.
