If you think this thread is dying, abandoing it is the worst thing to do.
IC: Shryke was quickly worried, but then noticed how tall the trees were, and he figured that the OOD would hit the higher branches, hopefully keeping the explosions from getting too close until they had moved.
Shryke then saw a crevice in the ground. He then yelled (the Sligs wouldn't hear him over the explosions "Quickly! Get down in the crevice and move away!"...well, at least until they got more prepared.
Shryke then dropped down into it and carefully started moving away from the tall trees, keeping down so he couldn't be seen. Hopefully it would also provide good cover from the imminent explosions.
