To be honest, I never knew the site existed until recently. But I don't think it is neccessarily a bad website, it has its good uses and its bad uses. It shouldn't be chastiased for the few incidents which it has been involved in recently.
Besides, you have to respect a website which can draw so many millions of people in, and have such a bad design / look. Then again, Google is similar.
