Electing the worst president twice, not by votes but with apathy
Shitty and utterly forgettable musical trends like "nu metal" and anything ending in -mo.
Having the best electrical entertainment like internet, the video and computer game boom.
Knowing worthless shit but being unable to say name the president of an important country in world affairs and U.S. relations, just being generally ignorant of important political happenings. Though blogging and other things may change that. The amount of things you read like " 58 percent of U.S. students couldn't find North Korea or their own ass with both hands and a map" is pretty disturbing.
