Double posting is where you post the same thing twice.I posted something different.

I see where you're coming from but it would have to be a considerable amount of time (at least a day, I'd say) before you submitted the second post for it not to be considered double posting. Otherwise you should just edit it or, as Spirrow says, wait for someone else to post something after you.
The other good thing to do is to edit your post with the designator 'EDIT:' so people know you have changed it.
Consider the ANGRY ELEPHANT bashing over.
