I have a question. On the offical site for SW, it says that Sekto was able to suck the life out of everybody that wanted to know who he was. If so, why didn't he try to suck the life out of Stranger. Did he want him alive or are Steef not affected by his vibrant glow?

Eh, can you give a link for that specific site?
From memory, it didn't necessarily say he was able to suck the life out of
everybody; just whomever his host is. I would assume that an Octigi would have to subdue an enemy before suckering onto it.
