Yeah, Oddworld does seem to have deities and religions which have been shown to be real (Shrykull and chant power). No real life deities or religions exist in it as far as we know. Then again, Abe is like a mix of Christ, Abraham, and Moses.

The Shrykull is sort of like that, mixed up from differnet beings to form a god.
