I'd say I can listen to almost all music and enjoy it. Some styles I appreciate and analyze absorb more, for instance Jazz and its specific branch offs with BeBop etc. and the genuis of Charlie Parker and Miles Davis, etc. However, even if there's a style I'm not too fond of such as country, etc. I respect the artist and what they are trying to do or trying to get across with their lyrics.

However, I will say this summer I have been listening to a lot of 311 which surprisingly I was only introduced to this past year and the song on my mind right now is probably "Flowing."
That's exactly how I am when it comes to music. To be honest, I didn't start liking modern music until last summer. I kept buying CD after CD and soon I had ten hours worth of music on my comp. It was insane. Now I listen to things from soundtracks from musical theatre to Cirque du Soleil. Even I like to Mindless Self Indulgance's song Bitches every once and a while.
