This sets a pretty dangerous precedent for old bastard politicians who don't understand jack about videogames, movies, music, hell, anything that appeals to somebody who doesn't think suppositories are more fun than a trip to Busch Gardens. They're trying to apply indecency standards to video games. The selfsame indecency standards that have been lambasted as vague and poorly worded since the Pacifica broadcasting case of 1973 for Chrissake! Its because old people are so behind the times that they don't realize this one blindingly obvious fact: Videogaming isn't for kids anymore and hasn't been about children for a good decade. The average age of a videogamer is 29, with 3/4 of all gamers being 18 or older. All this does is punish the single largest videogame demographic. This would negatively impact an industry that employs many people and makes more money than films.
