And when Lorne said Oddworld was ten times the size of earth, that can have many different meanings. ten times the mass? diameter? volume? radius?
I don't think that much needs to be broken down, either way he probably meant volume.

And I stick by waht I said. Larger planets have a faster rotation due to momentum from all the mass. But if Oddworld is old enough it could have slowed down.
If your theory is correct, then I am guessing some sort of collision was needed to slow it down. That also might explain how the moons came to be.
