Soory about double post, but I have now drawn a Slig skull. I was thinking of adding the whole skeleton on to it. Comment please.

The notches at the end of the tentacles have developed so that they are like nostrils. I have noticed that specifically, the masks of big bro Sligs have a hole at the end, and I looked at an old big-bro Slig mask design and it had slits at the end of the mask, so I rpesume it breathes through its tentacles at the end, so it may help breath underwater or something. There is no room anywhere else among the tentacles for nasal holes. The vertabrae that come after the skull are the attachments for the jaw muscles. The jaw does not protude, it is instead internal an the end hidden by the mask (possibly, otherwise the opening is within the tentacles somewhere). It has lost the protuding jaw as it did not need to open its mouth much at all, and used to mainly talk in acomplex language that involved the tentacles, either involving nasal blowing, rubbing of the tentacles or both. But they still had a large tongue, that could still be used for talking but had no need to evolve into a diffrent shape. They are now encouraged to talk in english so that other races (namely Gluks) can understand them easier (or at all, for that matter). The tentacles may also have been used for display among native or more wild Slig cultures. The nobs on top of its skull, the purpose of them is unkown, but they may help pick up vibrations. They fit in with the small bumps that can be seen along the top of a Sligs skull as well as down part of its back.
