That would have limited application. Elum was the biggest character in
Abe's Oddysee in terms of programming, and the few screens he was on in the game were very carefully scripted to make sure everything ran smoothly. Introducing Elum to much busier screens would likely crash the game.
Not that I wouldn't be interested in the results of such experimentation.
