An unlikely scenario, so of course I have prepared for it. It's just under When zombies attack and Curse of the man-eating cars on my list. I never go anywhere without my trusty sleg beating stick (actually a boomerang tied to a wooden spoon).

Referring to the hand thing, they're heads are completely different. Paramites' have strong, bony 'fingers' with claws at the end, while Sligs have floppy tentacles (I don't think they have bone in, I've never seen them move without the heads being shaken etc.). I think it's more coincedence than anything. I mean, the head are still otherwise different in everyway, the main difference being that Sligs have eyes. Possibly. They may not, the mask may just have motion sensors implanting to the Sligs brain with the info. Hey, the Vykkers gave Munch some robot possesing thing easily, whatever.
Also, what do Sligs look like under the mask? I don't think the tentacles come out of a 'tube' because otherwise the mask couldn't fit on as tight as it does if there was more flesh in the way. Even crawling Sligs have the masks, even, just look closely.
