Sorry to nitpick (and it wouldn't affect my thoughts on the matter), I just don't fully understand this. If the age of consent was reduced to 12, then the minors concerned in the second point would be under the age of 12, correct?
Hmm, as someone who believes society has a lot of growing up to do with their concerns about sexuality (no pun intended), some of those points seem at the very least worthy of debate, but I could be wandering into the line of fire for conceding even that much, so I'll depart.
